The Ten Commandments FAQ
The 10 commandments have been written about extensively on this website. The links below are to some of the major discussions, but you can find more through a site search.
You will note that we are quite critical of what are commonly called the biblical ten commandments (even though the bible itself identifies a different passage as the ten commandments.) However, we have no objection to individuals using them for guidance in their own lives. What we do oppose, and oppose strongly, is attempts by followers of these commandments to impose them on others.
