I don't really hate all Christians

For someone visiting this web site, I think it is possible to come to the conclusion I really dislike all believers, particularly Christians. But that is not true.
At the risk of repeating a cliché, most of my friends and acquaintances are Christians, but they are quite different from those I have criticized on this site.
- They don't come knocking at my front door trying to convert me.
- They don't feel compelled to pray for me in my disbelief.
- They have no problem integrating scientific knowledge about the world with their faith.
- They don't believe every word in the bible is literally true; they are capable of seeing spiritual truths in metaphor.
- They consider "Rapture" to be a ridiculous interpretation of a biblical passage.
- They don't believe their loving god would sentence good people to eternal torment solely for disbelief.
- They respect the religious beliefs of others, whether other denominations, other religions, or total disbelief.
- They accept it is possible to follow other religious paths and still be a good person.
- They recognize the rules of their religion apply to members of their religion, and not to everyone else in the world.
- They don't confuse patriotism and religion.
- They use their intelligence wisely.
I have no issue with these people. And if all believers were the same, I probably would not be so militant in my agnosticism. However, it does not change the fact that I really do despise the willful ignorance of fundamentalists, and will continue to strongly oppose their attempts to impose their beliefs and ignorance on others.
