I was reading Meditation 226 and was reminded of something I once heard. “The difference between bad and worse is always much sharper than the difference between good and better.” I don’t remember the source, but I always remember that statement when it is time to vote. Our options almost always seem dismal at best, but there is always that difference. If we throw our vote away through inaction, we will almost always get the worse.
