Two sides of the same... uh... sign

Driving through Winger, Ontario late last month, I noticed this church sign and thought I might write a Reflections on Ethics article on the idea expressed. I find the concept of God's forgiveness as the answer to your wrongs to be morally empty.
Coming at the church from the west later that day, I saw the opposite side of the sign with a message about Satan. It really was one of those double-take moments as the implications of the two sides of this sign hit me.
What about the offer of God's forgiveness and a new beginning? Is that not a lure also?
God; Satan. They are two sides of the same coin. And the currency is counterfeit.
