I dream of a religion that acknowledges we come in a thousand shapes and sizes, some of use being tall and some being short, some of us being plump and some being slender, some of us having a light complexion and some having a dark complexion, a religion that recognizes some of us have blue eyes, some have brown eyes, some have green eyes and some have hazel eyes, yet we are all human, each of us playing a role on the world’s stage.

I dream of a religion that recognizes some of us are curious and some of us are cautious, some of us are agreeable and some are antagonistic, some of us are outgoing and some are solitary, a religion that understands some men are supremely analytical and some men are nervous nellies, a religion that understands some women are emotional and some women are profoundly rational, yet we are all human, each doing the best we can with the life we have.

I dream of a religion that realizes some women are awesome engineers and some men are fabulous secretaries, a religion that appreciates some men and women are world class athletes and some women and men are world renowned academics, a religion that understands some people are totally career-oriented and some people are complete home-bodies, yet we are all human, each contributing to humanity’s prosperity.

I dream of a religion that acknowledges some people are incredibly religious while others are profoundly irreligious, a religion that realizes some people are constipated conservatives and some people are bleeding-heart liberals while most people lie between, a religion that recognizes some of us are gay, some of us are straight, some of us swing both ways and some fly solo, yet we are all human, each doing our part to perpetuate the species.
