I dream of a society that understands I am human, a society that recognizes I have screwed up a thousand times more than any righteous soul, yet I have also learned considerably more than any righteous soul will ever learn, perhaps more than they want me to learn for I have realized the worst part of screwing up is dealing with the righteous toads whose poop is perfumed by the gods of perfection.
I dream of a society that understands I am human, a society that appreciates I have blundered many, many, many times and yet I have also learned much from my experiences, certainly more than the sanctimonious souls will ever learn in their lifetime, for I have discovered it is entirely possible to correct my own blunders, sometimes fixing them before the sanctimonious toads can unleash their righteous indignation.
I dream of a society that understands I am human, a society that understands I have crossed the line between civil and criminal conduct more than once or twice, yet I have also learned from those experiences, perhaps not what the righteous elite thinks I should learn, but I have learned much, including the fact that even righteous souls make mistakes though it is never their fault because I obviously sneezed at the most inopportune time.
Have your say...
