I cannot, in good conscience, perform marriages as long as there is discrimination against any couple due to race, ethnic background, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, and/or status of health. In protest of the ban on same-sex marriages in the state of Kansas, I will not perform any legally binding marriage ceremony. Upon moving to a state or jurisdiction that allows them or upon the lifting of this ban, I would be more than happy to perform legally binding marriage ceremonies to any appropriately committed couple.
I am, however, happy to perform a non-legally binding marriage ceremony to any appropriately committed couple desiring the agnostic touch.
