As most of you know, 2009 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of his Origin of Species. There's a lot being published for the occasion and here is a handy selection of links for those who like reading.
To begin with, this is a selection distributed by Massimo Pigliucci of Rationally Speaking:
The following is a bit self-aggrandizing and therefore embarrassing, but this is also a special year because of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Darwin's Origin of Species. So, below are links to interviews I have given and essays for the general public I have written so far this year. Just in case you have nothing to do for a few minutes here and there...
- National Science Foundation, http://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/darwin/ - Enter the site, pick "biology" on the wheel, you will see links to an essay I wrote and a video interview.
