I'd just like to recommend the current issue of Skeptic (Vol.14, No. 4) with the picture of Charles Ponzi on the cover to illustrate the Psychology of the Ponzi Scheme.
It has good articles on faith healing and on the origins and meaning of the Garden of Eden.
And for those with children, the Junior Skeptic section deals with cold reading tricks used by "mindreaders." I do recommend that those with kids take out a subscription to Skeptic for this section alone - it's consistently informative, well written, and while at an age-appropriate level, does not talk down to them. For thos who want a starting point in giving their children a healthy skepticism, I can think of nothing better.
