Talk Back 122
There is a creator

John, here is part of the argument. There is more to the argument than just this. This is just a logical argument but the scientific proof is explained later. It's based on brain research. I explain a little more at the end of this section.
Absolutely everything I tell you can be verified by doing a little bit of research. I love questions. I can wait but it’s possible that within the next 4 weeks, I will be away for about two months and if that happens I expect to go where the temperature is warmer after.
I don’t have a copy of my book right now but can get one and it really isn’t necessary for you to read it to know and understand the proof. Just being intelligent and open-minded. People who are not open-minded will reject any proof because they don’t want to be proven wrong, or they are absolutely certain that what they believe is a fact, even though they don’t have any proof.
I will start by asking if you have ever heard that humans are only using 5 or 10% of their mental potential. A good percentage of the US population has heard this. It used to be thought that we only used that much of the brain but that’s not true, but we do not have full use of our mental potential and there is a reason for this.
Before I explain this, if I were to ask you if there was order in the universe, I would expect you to answer “Yes.” If there was no order, nothing could exist. This is because everything is made out of atoms and order is necessary for them to exist. Political science is a social science, not a physical science. There are many reasons why a human being would choose to act in a certain way while the Laws of Nature that determine how atoms, etc., work are not malleable. They don’t change. They are the same here as they are on the moon or in another galaxy. Physical science is exact while social science is not.
Is there order in the way the human body functions? Yes, obviously. If we eat something that is poisonous we either get very sick or we die—or both. If we eat the right foods and exercise we are healthier. Do we always eat healthy? Again, obviously no. Do we suffer as a result? Look around.
If there wasn’t any order, I would not be able to write you a letter and send it with a computer. Cars, airplanes, etc., would not exist. Etc. So there is order in the universe. Is there order in the way you think and speak? If there wasn’t you wouldn’t be able to say anything to me that I could understand. There is research that proves some people are smarter than others, based on their IQ. What’s the difference between someone with a high and a low IQ? Basically it’s the way their brains function. Brain research has come a long way, just like what has happened with computers and cars and jet planes.
The point is that there is order in the universe and order requires intelligence. When it comes to human intelligence, the greater the order in the way the brain functions, the better the quality of consciousness. What is meant by “order” in the brain? There are billions of neurons and there are many billions of connections between them. The order refers to how neurons “fire.” It is the firing of the neurons that goes on when one is thinking or dreaming or even sleeping. (The firing refers to a electro-chemical event.) It has been discovered that the firing of the neurons can be very disorderly and even non-existent. Books have been written that contained research that found that certain areas of the brains of some people were not very active. The areas of the brain that were not active were where there is activity when one has feelings of empathy. Those who did not have activity in these areas were not mentally and emotionally healthy and some were pathological, psychotic.
The point I am getting to is this: What is it that allows humans to have intelligence? What do we have that is necessary for us to have intelligence? The answer is “consciousness.” This is not only necessary for us to have intelligence. It’s necessary for us to be alive. We know we are alive when we are awake. We also know we are alive when we are dreaming and we can assume we are alive when we are in deep sleep because if we were not alive, we would never wake up because we would be dead. So are we alive when we are not awake or asleep? There has to be a moment when we are in between, neither awake or asleep or dreaming but still alive. Since we are alive, we must have consciousness. That is true and it can be and has been proven. People have been woken up when asleep and not dreaming and asleep when dreaming and they report that they were dreaming or not. It is the fact that we have consciousness that is important to the proof. That consciousness that is always there is the “ground state” of our consciousness. It’s always there and is a “constant.” An analogy would be to say that our heart rate goes up and down depending on what we are doing. But there is a “ground state” of the number of heart beats that our body returns to when we stop being vigorously active. Same for blood pressure.
Based on our own experience, we know that our intelligence is a characteristic of our consciousness. This is true for every living being.
The same thing is true for every expression of intelligence. There has to be consciousness for there to be intelligence. That means that there is a field of consciousness that is the basis for the intelligence that we see all around us in the universe. So what is this field of consciousness? Is there any way to prove scientifically that it exists? Yes.
If you were to ask a physicist what is the source of the universe, they would say that it’s a field of energy that vibrates. This field of energy is called the Unified Field. It’s called “unified” because it is the ultimate source of all of what the universe is made of and the Laws that govern how it functions. This field is at the “transcendental” level of existence.
I said above that we have a “ground state” of consciousness. The thing is it’s always there but we don’t experience it. We only experience waking, dreaming and sleeping. (Please understand that we don’t consciously “experience” deep sleep but the body is.) The reason we don’t experience it is because it’s at a “transcendental” level. It’s within our consciousness, at a deeper level. You may not understand this because you’ve never experienced it but that does not mean that it doesn’t exist. If that level of consciousness didn’t exist, you would not have any consciousness nor would you be alive. But there is a way to experience it. The ability to go within your own mind, your own consciousness, to the deepest level, is already there. Some people experience it spontaneously while for others it requires some instruction.
The purpose of my explaining this is to prove that there is a “creator.” I haven’t defined or described it yet and when I’m done, I don’t think it will be necessary because it will be obvious.
I expect that you are aware of the argument that says that humans are the result of “intelligent design” or evolution through natural selection. Evolution says that every feature of all living things alive today they have because it helped them survive in a competitive environment. This ability to go within our consciousness does not in any way help us survive. It could not have helped our ancestors survive because we have to do something very specific to go within or to say it better, to “transcend.” We have to close our eyes and that means we could be attacked and killed by an animal or some other human.
So you might wonder what does one experience when they go within and experience that ground state of consciousness. Since the transcendental state of our consciousness and the transcendental state of the universe is the same thing, an infinite field of consciousness (which is “pure,” meaning there is nothing else there) that is what one experiences—an infinite field of pure infinite silent consciousness and one is very much awake, not asleep. That field of silent consciousness is also a field of bliss.
When one is having this experience, the brain is functioning in a very unique and orderly way which is a direct result of practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique. You can see the brain research at www.istpp.org. This is solid hard science.
And there is even more to this proof.
I mentioned above that there are Laws of Nature that govern how the universe functions. (Gravity is one of those Laws.) They are within that Unified Field, which is equivalent to the field of pure consciousness. That means that those Laws are within our consciousness. Once we become so familiar with that field of consciousness that we always have it within our mind, we can do things with those Laws. Here is a video of a talk by another scientist: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeBUFzP9C1w. Dr. Tony Nader, Neuroscientist--Hacking Consciousness, Stanford.

Here is a short list of abilities that humans have when they develop the highest state of consciousness.
From The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Chapter III. POWERS
40. By controlling the nerve-currents that govern the lungs and the upper part of the body, the yogi can walk on water and swamps, or on thorns and similar objects, and he can die at will.
41. By controlling the force which governs the prana, he can surround himself with a blaze of light.
This is the force which regulates the various functions of the vital energy (prana). One of the brother-disciples of Sri Ramakrishna actually had this power; and it is recorded that he once used it to light the path for Ramakrishna on a dark night. However, Ramakrishna later found it necessary to take the power away from him because it was making him dangerously egotistic.
42. By making samyama on the relation between the ear and the ether, one obtains supernatural powers of hearing.
43. By making samyama on the relation between the body and the ether, or by acquiring through meditation the lightness of cotton fiber, the yogi can fly through the air.
44. By making samyama on the thought-waves of the mind when it is separated from the body-the state known as the Great Disincarnation-all coverings can be removed from the light of knowledge.
Like aphorism 39, this refers to the yoga power of Withdrawing the mind from one's own body in order to make it pass into the body of another. In this state of withdrawal, the "Great Disincarnation," the mental coverings composed of rajas and tamas dwindle away and the light of sattwa is revealed.
45. By making samyama on the gross and subtle forms of the elements, on their essential char-acteristics and the inherence of the gunas in them, and on the experiences they provide for the individual, one gains mastery of the elements.
46. Hence one gains the power of becoming as tiny as an atom and all similar powers; also perfection of the body, which is no longer subject to the obstructions of the elements.
Not only can the yogi become as tiny as an atom but as huge as a mountain, as heavy as lead, or as light as air. And the elements cease to obstruct him. He can pass through rock. He can hold his hand in the fire, unburned. He can walk through water, unwetted. He can stand firm against a hurricane.
47. Perfection of the body includes beauty, grace, strength and the hardness of a thunderbolt.
48. By making samyama on the transformation that the sense-organs undergo when they contact objects, on the power of illumination of the sense organs, on the ego-sense, on the gunas which constitute the organs, and on the experiences they provide for the individual, one gains mastery of the organs.
A "yogi" is a human being who has gained the highest of 7 states of consciousness. It's called moksha, Unity, Enlightenment and yoga. Yoga means union. If you do a search online for a definition you won't find a good one because this knowledge has been lost for thousands of years. The source of all of this knowledge is the Veda. The Veda explains that Life on Earth goes through two ages, kali-yuga and sat-yuga. We have been in the first age for thousands of years and it's coming to an end right now and the knowledge to create the new age has returned. It happened about 50 years ago.
Here are the characteristics of the first age:
15 Most Amazing Predictions for Kali Yuga from the Bhagavata Purana
Published on Apr 17 2014 | Posted by The Editor, India Divine.org
In the last canto of the Bhagavata Purana there is a list of predictions and prophecies about the dark times for the present age of Kali Yuga. The following 15 predictions, written 5,000 years ago by sage Vedavyasa, are amazing because they appear so accurate. Despite the negative tone of these prophecies, there is still one bright spot for all of us, which is mentioned at the end.
Prediction 1:
Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of life, physical strength and memory will all diminish day by day because of the powerful influence of the age of Kali.

I suggest you look at the title of the books at www.mumpress.com. You will find a book by Dr. Nader about his research that shows that every word in the Vedas is expressed in some aspect of the human body. In its original form, the Vedas are in Sanskrit, a non-manmade language. The language is the sound created by the field of energy/consciousness/intelligence that is creating and maintaining the universe. A yogi’s consciousness is united with that field and thereby “cognizes” the sound. It’s in their brain. All they have to do is put their attention on it. This is how the Vedas came to exist in written form. It’s not memorization. It’s direct experience. That field of pure infinite consciousness is the Self. Without that field nothing would exist including the individual consciousness we and all other living creatures have.
The specific scientific proof is the brain research that shows happens in the brain when one is experiencing the transcendental field of consciousness, and also when one is doing the levitating, known as yogic flying. They are not hovering but lifting up into the air for short periods of time, just by doing a mental technique.
If you have questions, let me know.
